There were 8 new cases on Saturday, 7 on Sunday and one case on Monday. The total number of cases in the region is now 1813. That number is lower because sixteen “false positives” that occurred in the Rocher-Percé MRC have been discounted and removed from the region’s statistics. However, the number of active cases has not changed much since 12 of those 16 cases had already been considered to have recovered from COVID-19.
