Regional update: 145 individuals have recovered
The number of people in the region with COVID-19 is stable at 174. There are no new casualties, the total for the region is 8. Two additional people have recovered from the virus, for a total of 145. There are no new hospitalizations. One person is still in intensive care at a designated hospital in Rimouski.
The breakdown of the 174 cases by health region (containing a hospital) is as follows:
- Bay of Chaleur sector – 131 (stable)
- Rocher-Percé sector – 27 (stable)
- Magdalen Islands – 9 (stable)
- Côte-de-Gaspé – 5 (stable)
- Haute-Gaspésie – 2 (stable)
The totals for the province are as follows:
- 3483 – deaths (an increase of 82)
- 42,183 – positive cases (an increase of 763)
- 1763 – total hospitalizations (a decrease of 59)
- 179 – people in intensive care (a decrease of 12)
