  • Regional update: six new cases reported today, 38 active cases remain in the region

    There are 6 new cases of COVID-19 bringing the overall total number of cases in the Gaspé Peninsula and Magdalen Islands to 1809. There are currently 38 active cases and no hospitalizations. There are 19 cases of a variant in the region.

    The COVID-19 analysis laboratory in Chandler is temporarily closed. For the time being all tests will be sent to Maria or Gaspé. Screening clinics will however, continue as usual.
