Since the beginning of the pandemic 7,711 tests have been conducted in the Gaspé Peninsula and Magdalen Islands. That number represents an increase of 1,319 since June 19th.
There are currently 190 cases in the Gaspé Peninsula and Magdalen Islands, 180 have recovered and 9 are deceased. Nineteen people have been hospitalized from the region as a result of COVID-19. Currently there are no COVID-19 related hospitalizations from the region. Fifty health care workers have contracted the virus, 19 are CISSS employees.
