The Gaspé Peninsula and Magdalen Islands Public Health Board is reporting two new cases of COVID-19, bringing the regional total to 206 cases. The new cases are in the Rocher-Percé MRC and the Haute Gaspésie MRC.
As of July 31, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the Gaspé Peninsula and Magdalen Islands reached 206. Of those cases 186 (90.3%) have recovered from the virus. Currently, there are no COVID-19 related hospitalizations from the region. Regionally, fifty-three health care workers have contracted the virus, 21 are CISSS employees.
