The directives on interprovincial screening at the J.C. VanHorne bridge have been clarified. Here is the most recent information received by the City of Campbellton:
• Essential workers are permitted to travel to or from Quebec to attend work.
• Residents of Quebec are permitted to cross the bridge to get essential items such as grocery, medication, in Campbellton – but are asked to limit the number of persons (1 person preferably) in the vehicle to acquire those items – and are asked to limit the frequency of visits.
• Residents of New Brunswick that cross the bridge to Quebec for other reasons than work must self-isolate for 14 days when coming back
