Gaspésie Railway Society gets largest transport contract in history
NEW RICHMOND – The Gaspésie Railway Society has just signed the largest annual transport contract of its history. The company will haul 600 windmill blades between New Richmond and Matapedia.The blades are made by LM Wind Power in Gaspé and will ultimately be delivered in the United States. -

GASPÉ – The Queen Mary 2, the longest transatlantic passenger ship ever built, made a memorable stop in the bay of Gaspé on October 7. Thousands of people gathered to see the pride of the Cunard Line, which stayed anchored for 10 hours about a mile off the coast.
