  • Regional update: Two new cases reported today, 46 active cases remain in the region

    New Cases: There are two new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in the Gaspé Peninsula and Magdalen Islands. This brings the total number of cases in the region to 1,687.  Two additional individuals were hospitalized today, but two other patients were released, so the number of current hospitalizations remains the same at nine.

    New cases:

    • 2 – Rocher-Percé MRC

    Active cases

    There are currently 46 active cases in the region:

    • Avignon MRC – 5
    • Bonaventure MRC – less than 5
    • Rocher-Percé MRC – 29
    • Côte-de-Gaspé MRC – 7
    • Haute-Gaspésie MRC – less than 5
    • Magdalen Islands – less than 5

    Vaccines: Number of administered doses of the vaccine in the Gaspé Peninsula and Magdalen Islands: 2598 (2.9%).

  • Regional update: two additional hospitalizations as a result of COVID

    New Cases: There are three new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in the Gaspé Peninsula and Magdalen Islands. This brings the total number of cases in the region to 1,679.  Nine (+2) individuals are currently hospitalized as a result of COVID-19.

    New cases:

    • 1 – Bonaventure MRC
    • 2 – Rocher-Percé MRC

    • Bonaventure MRC – less than 5
    • Rocher-Percé MRC – 41
    • Côte-de-Gaspé MRC – 10
    • Haute-Gaspésie MRC – less than 5

    Vaccines: Number of administered doses of the vaccine in the Gaspé Peninsula and Magdalen Islands: 2605 (2.9 % of the population)
